1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible -   this is a special project that is merging the best of three worlds. A clean 57 Four door car, a lost to rust and decayed 57 Ford Convertible, and a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis chassis.  The project will progress to completion of a 1957 Ford Convertible visibly correct in every way, but:

  1. sitting upon a narrowed and lengthened 2002 Grand Marquis chassis
  2. 4.6L SOHC 16 valve engine (2004  4.6L - 239hp SAE)
  3.  AODE transmission
  4. Lincoln watts linkage rear suspension
  5. Anti-lock Brake System  (ABS)
  6. Traction control
  7. power 4 wheel disc brakes
  8. Speed Variable Power Steering
  9. cruise control
  10. AC-heat-defrost
  11. Passive Anti-theft protection  (PATS)
  12. The car will have correct and functioning emissions
  13. This will be a drive anywhere good looking 57 Ford Convertible
  14.  It will be serviced as a 2002-2004 Grand Marquis in the future. (Mechanical, electrical, chassis, brakes, suspension)
